you have to have a consistent back ground like full grey or white or black or anything contrasting with the model but consistent in the full photo.

then select the background color and delete it and fill the colour you want.

or invert the selection and cut and paste the model on any other photo or background.

Edward Verosky has just released an eBook aimed to make photographers more confident in all flash photography situations. Flash photography is definitely a tricky subject, I know that I have been one to panic at dimly lighted events when people are depending on me to capture great photos. This new book is called 100% Reliable Flash Photography and is all about gaining the skill and confidence you need to create great images with the most basic and available lighting sources.__________________________________________

Step 1:- Click on the Start menu button. Then click on Settings and then on Control Panel.
Step 2:- Double-click on the Display icon or text link. This will open a window named Display Properties.
Step 3:- Click on Background if that tab is not selected. Click on one of the items that appear in the box labeled Wallpaper.
Step 4:- Inspect the preview that appears above the Wallpaper menubox. Use the Display menu to the right to experiment with tiling, stretching or centering the picture that you are previewing.
Step 5:-Click on Browse to use an image stored elsewhere on your hard drive. Locate the image and click Open.
Step 6:-Click OK to change your background, or wallpaper. Click Cancel if you decide to maintain your current settings.

1.First of all adjust the Levels and Brightness and Contrast of both pictures so that they are just as similarly adjusted as possible.
2.Then working with the photo that has the background select the whole thing (Select>All), Copy the whole thing (Edit>Copy), and then working with the photo that has the foreground that you want to use, Paste the previous photo onto a new layer (Edit>Paste). Your layers menu for the for photo should now look similar to the picture to the left. With the background photo on top of the foreground photo.
3.Now add a Layer Mask to the upper layer that Hides All,
4. Click on the Brush Tool and make sure that the colors you are working with are black and white,
5. Finaly, brush where you want the new background to show through. You will probably have to change brush sizes often for the more intricate places.
